Something different

I used Lumiere Paints directly from the jar to the stamp, using daubers to transfer the paint ~ a nice effect I think!

All materials used from Stampin' Up! (except the Lumiere paints, which I've had in my drawer for years and only used once!)

Masked and Sponged Scene

I am so pleased with how this card turned out!
The scene is masked & sponged.

Stamped Newsprint

Stamped newsprint is one of my new favourite things! And I've always loved square cards!

Materials used from: Stampin' Up! (the disc is from Kaszazz)

Floral Parade

I love the new 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Catalogue which officially goes live on Tuesday! The 'Thank You' in this card and the 'Happy Birthday' in the third card, is from one of their new stamp sets.

Materials used from : Stampin' Up! & Kaszazz (bouquet stamp in last card), and Tim Holtz (butterfly in third card).

Sponged flower and Burlap

This card uses emboss resist, using white embossing powder, and sponging over it.

Bit of mix 'n' match

For this card I used DSP (from various sources from my scrap drawer), and made my own DSP with Field Flowers stamp set from Stampin' Up! I used the Pansy Punch from SU! for the flowers, scrunching and unscrunching them for the 'vintage' look.

Materials used from : Stampin' Up. The pearl brad is from Kaszazz.

All that colour!!

The first card was made by swiping the ink pad directly to the cardstock, turning the card and continuing to add colour to your taste. I sponged the bottom right corner with craft white ink to provide a place for my greeting to show up.

I love newsprint! And I love stamping on it. Here I've added splashes of colour to it.

And this one uses a resist technique. It is embossed with white embossing powder, and sponged over with Bermuda Bay and Pumpkin Pie/Tangerine Tango inks from Stampin' Up!
Materials used from : Stampin' Up! (Stamps, Inks, Cardstock, DSP), Close to My Heart (Stamps)

Blue & White Selection

I've been having fun with monochromatic blue and white. The first card is Island Indigo and White, the following three are Marina Mist and White.

Materials used from : Stampin' Up! (Stamps, Embossing Folder, Dies & Cardstock), Close to My Heart (Stamps), Kaszazz (Butterfly Embellishment & Stencil)

Back in my craft room!

I have been so busy lately that I haven't had the time or the motivation to make cards, but I spent some time in my craft room tonight, and made these 3 cards...

The first two are for a couple of StampNation Challenges...

This was made using one of my favourite techniques ~ sponging

And this was made using the Masking Tape Technique ~ I love the look this technique gives my cards!

And the third one was inspired by a photo of a very creative scrapbook page I saw in a magazine. I'm including that photo as well...
This is the picture that inspired me...
And this is the card I made
