Spring Pansies

I made this for a StampNation callenge, Think Spring. I love Spring! I think of flowers, colour and butterflies, and I love the soft colours of the English gardens. I stamped and embossed the pansies on vellum from Stampin' Up!'s Flower Shop stamp set, and coloured them by using chalk on the reverse side of the vellum.

Catching up on SN Challenges :)

Here are some cards I've made this week. I've been going back over old challenges and being inspired. I find that if my mojo is low, which it has been since the busyness of Christmas, the best way to get it back is to enter challenges!

CAS (Clean And Simple)

I made this 'Thinking of You' card for the StampNation CAS Challenge #14. I used two different Sizzix dies, and two embossing folders.

And this one, 'Birthday Wishes', is for the StampNation CAS Challenge #15. I'm really enjoying these clean and simple cards!

Happy Butterflies

Happy Butterflies was made by using embossing paste and a butterflies stencil. I cut the butterflies out, and made a card for them!

Crayon Resist Halo

I saw something I liked and wanted to give it a try. I don't know how what I saw was made, but I decided to use the crayon resist technique by using the crayon around the stamped and embossed image. It looks a lot like a halo, so I'm calling it the 'Crayon Resist Halo Technique'! I'm really happy with the results.

I used a scrap piece of DSP, Sweet Essentials stamp set, Cherry Cobbler & Whisper White cardstock, rhinestones, and Whisper White Organza Ribbon. So quick and easy.

Designing for the StampNation Design Team

Wow, I've been so busy since getting back from holidays! I've got some exciting challenges coming up for StampNation and I'm busy designing for them. The Aussie & New Zealand girls are doing a Secret Santa this year, and I was up late last night making my gift for my special sistah. Hope she likes it!!!

I had fun playing with washi tape the other day. I hope you like them! They were such fun to make :)
